For a special event or just a quiet drink you couldn't’t find a better venue than the Fox and Hounds. Why not relax with friends in the bar before enjoying lunch in our non-smoking restaurant. Candlelight and subtle background music in the evening creates the perfect venue for an intimate dinner in this thatched country inn. The value menu is varied and is accompanied by imaginative daily specials and traditional Sunday roasts. Our chefs have created a well balanced selection using only the highest quality ingredients. The comprehensive wine list contains well known favourites alongside some new little numbers from around the world. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere where the attention to detail is second to none.

• Main Bar:
  There’s a fine selection of cask ales on the bar and plenty of good food available. In the chilly weather you can warm your toes in front of our log burning stove in the main bar while being entertained on our open piano night.
• Locals Bar:
  A vibrant meeting point for the local town folk, where stories are exchanged and gossip told. Dart board, pool table, paneled walls, traditional furniture and atmosphere creates the perfect ambience for this busy bar.
• Restaurant:
  You will find a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes, all made using fresh local produce where possible. Our menu, designed by our head chef, caters for all tastes from exotic fish dishes to the traditional favourites we are sure you will enjoy your meal at the Fox and Hounds.
